Kings Heath Masjid was established in the early 1970's to cater for a small Muslim community from a single converted residential property which catered for approx. 30 worshippers.
Today the Masjid caters for worshippers and hosts two Jumuah congregations to ensure there is space available for the growing local Muslim community.
Attendees to the Masjid originate from a diverse ethnic background and all visitors young and old to the Masjid can expect a warm and friendly welcome from members of the congregation and our esteemed Imams.
The Mosque Committee
The day to day running of the Masjid is conducted by a group of elected community volunteers who serve on the Masjid Operational Committee, working in association with our esteemed Imams to cater for the needs of the community.
The Masjid committee oversees operational matters of the Masjid ensuring the premises are well looked after as well as printing and distributing prayer timetables.
Our Respected Imam
The Masjid has one dedicated Imam, Mufti Abu Zafar Saheb who lead the congregational prayers, offer counselling and advice sessions, deliver speeches and workshops on important religious, spiritual and community issues at regular intervals in the Urdu and English language.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact our esteemed Imams who will insha’allah be happy to point you in the right direction.
